By far, this is one of the most helpful iPhone apps I’ve ever used. This app provides categories for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks so you can track what you regularly consume during different times of the day. It also has a separate section to log how much water you drink.

With a vast search bank for food groups, it is easy to record how many calories you’ve consumed. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you also have the option to create a new food, which is stored for future logs. But that’s only on the nutrition side! This app also breaks down exercise categories into cardiovascular and strength training and allows for notes on both food and exercise.

In just a little time, noting all you eat and drink becomes a fast, easy habit. Knowing you have to record everything you eat tends to promote more responsible food choices. It also makes you starkly aware of portion size and calorie ratios.
