Wylie Wave Summer Fun! {Wylie Recreation Summer Camp}

WAVE has flown by! So far this summer, 776 registrants of Wylie Wave Summer Day Camp have enjoyed 5 weeks full of sports activities, art and learning.

Aloha summer! Campers greeted the heat during the first week of camp with a fun trip to Hawaiian Falls.

Weeks two and three included time learning about exotic animals at the Dallas Zoo and creating sculptures at the Dallas Museum of Art.

During week 4, campers enjoyed a visit from our Smith Public Library friends for storytime, participated in a campus-wide scavenger hunt and played games at Main Event.

Winter In July dominated week 6 and included Reindeer Games and ice skating. Campers participated in a home-grown Winter Olympics, where “Japan” went home with the Gold.

Weeks six through eight will include bouncing at Jumpstreet, bowling at Allen Bowl, Grapevine’s new SeaLife Aquarium and Legoland. Campers will also strut their stuff in the annual Talent Show and enjoy a visit from Games2U.
